Childhood
Joe Smidmore, affectionately known as Smiddy, was born on January 16th 1994 in Lewisham, and moved to Hastings at 10 years old. His parents both had keen and differing tastes in music, and he took up drums at the age of 11 and guitar at 13.
Music
Smiddy has been in many bands in his music career, lasting from days to months. He and Nathan Hunt met at college in September 2010, and in October they played together (which turned into The Music Hut Sessions - Volume 1. His long term project was with For The Record, until being invited to play drums in Nathan And The Gregs in April 2011. After parting with the band in July of the same year, he later went on to join Arcadian Anthem alongside Harry Thomas and Sam Sayers.
